After a year of disappointing and frustrating house hunting, we finally found a little 2-bed Georgian cottage in the area of Totteridge, Barnet an hour from Central London. This blog charts those first heady days of home ownership as well as acting as a general sounding board/journal for the various home improvements, gardening, cooking, vintage and antique finds that happen along the way. First let me give you a tour of our little cottage, it was built in 1814 and was an old farm workers cottage, the well still exists in our neighbours garden!
